Bakfiets Long

The long version of the Bakfiets Cargo Bike is 253cm long and 63cm wide. Its box is large enough to transport up to 4 children:

  • 2 Children on Bench + 1 Baby in Maxi-Cosi (or similar) carseat with bracket
  • 2 Children on Bench + 2 Toddlers/Babies in White Woolly rear-facing safety seats
  • 3 Children: 2 on Bench + 1 in optional extra, forward facing bench
  • Add 1 Child (3-7) to all options with a Bobike, Yepp or similar rear seat

The Bakfiets Classic Long is identical to the short but with a stretched frame and box. It has the space to carry up to 4 children in various configurations (see top of page). You can also carry a large dog on a dedicated seat with a top cage and side door in the box for easy entry.

Bakfiets Cruiser Long

The Bakfiets Cruiser Long is a stylish and sporty version of the Classic model but with fat tyres for comfort, broad mudguards in matching frame colour, Brooks aged-leather saddle and handlebar grips, a retro style 35 lux headlight and Plateo rear light both powered by the hub dynamo and with standlight function . There is no rear carrier rack fitted.

Bakfiets Airo

The Bakfiets Airo is the lightest Cargo Bike in the range. It has similar dimensions to the Long model but is 6.5 kilos lighter. The bike has an aluminium frame, with the box constructed from aluminium and light but strong trampoline mesh side panels. The hydraulic rim brakes give exceptional stopping power with a minimum of effort.
